We suggest that you read the biographies of any of the mentors you are interested in (click on the bio tab next to their picture and you will be taken to their information) and when you are ready to select your mentors, return to your mentee application form (go to the Mentoring Scheme menu and choose 'become a mentee') and choose your mentors from the drop down boxes in the form.

Senior Lecturer in Transplant Surgery and Honorary Consultant Transplant Surgeon, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh

Having trained in London at St. Thomas’ and St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, Lorna moved to Scotland as a specialist registrar in 1994. She completed her training with a postgraduate degree and two small children, and having spent several years training flexibly. She was awarded a Clinician Scientist post though the Academy of Medical Sciences/Health Foundation in 2003 and continue to run a laboratory-based research programme in renal transplantation, as well as having a clinical role as a consultant in transplant and endocrine surgery.
