We suggest that you read the biographies of any of the mentors you are interested in (click on the bio tab next to their picture and you will be taken to their information) and when you are ready to select your mentors, return to your mentee application form (go to the Mentoring Scheme menu and choose 'become a mentee') and choose your mentors from the drop down boxes in the form.

Amy B. Hahn, PhD, D(ABHI)

I received my doctoral and post-doctoral training in immunology and immunogenetics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. I have been a laboratory director since 1993, first at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, and since 1997 at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. I am also the off-site director for Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. I have served the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) and the American Board of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ABHI) in many capacities, and am currently President of ABHI and President-Elect of ASHI. I am on the Editorial Board of the journal Human Immunology and the Advisory Board of the Center for Donation and Transplant. I have also been nominated to be the histocompatibility representative to the UNOS board of directors. In addition to all of the above, I am a wife and mother of 4 children (currently ages 20, 18, 18 and 16).
