We already have initial viewings happening within groups based in Chicago and Omaha for March and April 2021, who will be tweeting their discussion (#WIT). Most exciting is that WIT will provide members with unlimited opportunities for 1 year to watch the movie at no charge, in either a virtual or in-person format (where possible). WIT hopes that this movie will prompt transplant professionals all over the world to share their experiences, and brainstorm successful ways to advance their professional experience (either online or in person, depending on how you choose to view).
Here is what Dr. Anita Chong (Chair of WIT Pillar 1) has to say about the movie:
‘What struck me was how universal the experiences highlighted in the movie were, and yet, prior to the discussion of the movie, how each female professional thought that they were alone facing these challenges. This movie has motivated me to organize opportunities for women professionals to share their experience, and together, advocate for change one institution at a time.’
